Atlas helps answer about 5-10 questions in PT if one has good command over it . Besides it helps immensely in correlating current affairs and thus is helpful for mains as well as interview . But it’s generally difficult to master it with an all encompassing map hanging on the wall or skimming though atlases or reading through plethora of ” map books ” in the market .

This course uses a unique methodology to help you master the atlas by engaging you in a cross linked set of exercises which you don’t just read through but actively participate in.

Methodology / Course Content

We have adopted a number of features in our course . Here’s a brief overview :

  • There is a particular day wise sequence to the course and we expect you to attempt the contents of each day on a single day ( if exams are more than 30 days away ) or 2-3 days’ content in a single day ( if exams are less than 30 days away ) . Please don’t rush through doing more than that in a single day . It won’t be as effective as we have planned it to be .
  • 80/20 revision : We have divided the big topics ( like wildlife sanctuaries ) in two parts , the first part having the must know locations ( 20% of the syllabus with 80% scoring potential ) will be uploaded in the early days of the course , so that you have more time to revise and master it . The second part will be uploaded later .
  • 1/7/30 Revision : If you revise anything 1 day , 7 days and 30 days after doing it for the first time , you have a high chance of recalling it later . We have incorporated this in our day wise schedule wherein if you keep doing what’s assigned to you each day you will end up following this revision rule for all our modules .
  • App support : We will provide a lot of our content for easy revision on our Android / Apple app . So , that you can revise the most important data more frequently using your spare times here and there. You can download our Android app from the play store by typing in “ias notes ” or “notes for ias ” . The Apple app will be available for download soon as well .
  • Core Content : Our IPL format ( pun completely intended 😉 ) helps you identify your weak areas in a topic . For more details , see the video link above.
  • Past Papers Analysis : We will provide you with an analysis of the past papers of Atlas based questions asked in  UPSC towards the end of this course to make you see how our course helps you answer them and what else you should be aware of .
  • A number of other features like Atlas Guide , PDF for selected topics , use of learning aids like Mnemonics and other interactive question types have been extensively used .
  • Revision Format : All the revisions and some of the first studies are based on a different format ( Instant Revision Quiz ) . For more details see a video by clicking this link .
